SCULPTING SOUND: AN ARTFUL JAZZ IMPROV EXPERIENCE
Learn about the All the Right Notes exhibition from Chief Curator Jeremiah William McCarthy, enjoy refreshments and drinks, and experience a unique performance featuring Native Son (Circus) by Terry Adkins, a sculpture of cymbals that periodically crashes to life. Local jazz musicians will improvise with this amazing work of art!

Cecilia Grace Burchill Organ Recital
Cecilia Grace Burchill, a Sacred Music Organ major at Franciscan University of Steubenville, and the Organ Scholar at Most Precious Blood of Jesus Parish, in Pittsburgh, will give a lecture-recital, "Modal Musings", a concert exploration of the Church Modes through organ and Chant, featuring the work of Flor Peeters and original improvisation.

Loud & Proud Music Festival
LOUD & PROUD is an independent LGBTQ+ music and arts festival spotlighting LGBTQ+ talent from the Greater Pittsburgh area and surrounding regions. All proceeds from admissions to the Loud & Proud Music Festival benefit the Hugh Lane Wellness Foundation - raising the health of the LGBTQ+ and HIV communities in Western Pennsylvania.

This Friday, May 10th at The Artists Hand the supremely talented “front porch swing” band Grist For The Mill will pay tribute to Ms. Patti Holmes in a special concert at The Hand. Ms. Patti was the Grister’s signature singer for years until her passing this January.
