For more than 30 years, London-based artist Ajamu X has unapologetically celebrated Black queer bodies, the erotic sense, and pleasure as activism. He has been at the forefront of genderqueer photography, challenging dominant ideas around masculinity, gender, sexuality, and the representation of Black LGBTQ+ people.

A while back I was approached by Cindy Fulmer of Star Equestrians about exhibiting handwritten stories and art by young people on a theme of horses. Cindy provides equine therapy to help improve mobility and motor skills at her place in nearby Strongstown.

'Over the River and Through The Woods' with Ebensburg author, Hilary Hauck and associated writers presenting their holiday stories. Hauck is an award winning writer who in addition to historical fiction writes fantasy for young readers, including 'The Wrong Kind of Magic,' described as the magic of Christmas in a book.

Mondays 9 to Noon! Writing Sprint in a local cafe/art gallery. A perfect place to find some inspiration and get a morning write in to start the week out right! 

With over 30 years of experience in paper-making as an art form, Trish will share her journey and insights into the fascinating world of fiber arts. Participants will be invited to create their own handmade paper ornaments, with supplies available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Weavers will design and weave dish towels, which will then be available for sale in CC’s Store beginning the following day.

The “Meet the Weavers” Red Brick Gallery Wine & Cheese reception for the Exhibit will be on Sunday, November 10 from 4 to 6 PM  – immediately following the 2 PM concert of the popular crossover group TAKE3 Trio –  “Where ROCK Meets BACH”

Jessie received her BFA in Sculpture from Penn State University in 2011 with a minor in Art History. She has curated various exhibitions and advised on numerous arts projects and programs in the Pittsburgh region including as one of the founding members of VACE (Visual Arts Coalition for Equity).
