With over 30 years of experience in paper-making as an art form, Trish will share her journey and insights into the fascinating world of fiber arts. Participants will be invited to create their own handmade paper ornaments, with supplies available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Weavers will design and weave dish towels, which will then be available for sale in CC’s Store beginning the following day.

The “Meet the Weavers” Red Brick Gallery Wine & Cheese reception for the Exhibit will be on Sunday, November 10 from 4 to 6 PM  – immediately following the 2 PM concert of the popular crossover group TAKE3 Trio –  “Where ROCK Meets BACH”

Led by Sogetsu Pittsburgh’s founder and principal teachers Reiko Nakajima and Atsumi Sewell, this session will include an introduction to the modern Sogetsu school of Ikebana, a demonstration of the process and key techniques of crafting a basic ikebana arrangement, followed by participants creating their own arrangements with guided instruction and one-on-one feedback.

Intro to Geometric Bead Weaving is an all-levels workshop which will introduce participants to the basics of off-loom sculptural geometric beadwork.

From Etch to Print and Adorn: Printmaking and Jewelry using the Etching Process. This one-day workshop will introduce you to electrolytic etching, a safer and acid-free etching process, simple printmaking techniques, and basic jewelry making.
