Building the Crèche
The Pittsburgh Crèche, or nativity scene, is the only sanctioned replica of the crèche at Saint Peter's Basilica in the Vatican. This 66,000 pound piece of art has been a part of Pittsburgh's history and Christmas tradition for 22 years. Now, we take you behind the scenes as we see how this three story structure is assembled and meet the people involved in making it happen.
