Oil Region Alliance Job Opening
The Oil Region Alliance of Business, Industry and Tourism (ORA) is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting, developing, and implementing educational and outreach programs that promote the Oil Region National Heritage Area’s (ORNHA) rich history and recreational amenities.
Workshop Taught Three-Coat Plaster for Historic Preservation
“Restoring original materials in historic structures such as the plaster in the Judge McKee House is imperative to maintaining the historic character and look of the building,” said ORA Project Manager Abigail Watson-Popescu, who led the workshop.

“Music on the Square” harmonizes with Oil Heritage Festival Art Show
The Oil City Main Street Program’s “Music on the Square” concert series continues Wednesday, July 20 with a performance by Max Schang and Sweet Atmosphere. The free concert is scheduled in conjunction with the opening reception of the Oil Heritage Festival Art Show, set for 6 – 9 p.m. that evening.
Pittsburgh’s public art could be likened to the city’s fingerprint. It is unique, celebratory of local voices, and a testament to its post-industrial landscape.
As public art invites everyone to interact with the creative spirit of Pittsburgh, The (New) Pittsburgh Exposition offers seven public art sites in and around the city that have helped define its civic art scene.
