In honor of the 250th Anniversary of Unity Cemetery and Chapel, local artists have been invited to capture the beauty and historic essence of the cemetery and chapel through their artwork. The resulting collection of paintings are on display at the Latrobe Art Center from now through October 28th.
To celebrate this special occasion, a special reception will be held on October 18th from 5:30 - 7:00 pm at Latrobe Art Center, providing the community with an opportunity to enjoy these beautiful works of art.
The exhibit features works by talented local artists, including Pat Dickun, Doreen Currie, Richard Stoner, Becky Mormack, and Nancy Rusbosin to name a few. Each artist has contributed their unique perspective and style, highlighting the enduring legacy of Unity Cemetery and Chapel.
“We are thrilled to showcase these incredible pieces that honor such a significant historical landmark in our community,” said a representative from the Latrobe Art Center. “We invite everyone to come and experience the art, and celebrate the deep history and beauty of Unity Cemetery and Chapel.”
