The National Guard of Pennsylvania History Project is coming to the third floor of the Johnstown Flood Museum with a one-day exhibition to commemorate the National Guard of Pennsylvania’s response to the 1889 Johnstown Flood.
The display will include uniforms, arms and equipment issued by the state, as well as some imagery and paper items. Project representatives will be on hand to tell about the NGP during the aftermath of the flood and its humanitarian role, then and now.
Admission is free to JAHA members or with museum admission.
