Description:

The Logans Ferry Powder Works Historic District, located in Plum, Pennsylvania, is an area of historical significance. Its operations commenced in 1918, focusing on the production of explosive bronze-aluminum powder for various applications including fireworks and other explosives, as well as pigments for Alcoa. Recognized for its historical importance, the works were officially listed on the National Register of Historic Places on May 7, 1998. Notably, as of March 6, 2015, the plant was undergoing dismantlement.
