Description:

Lobb's Cemetery, also known as Lobb's Run Cemetery, is a significant burial ground situated in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Its name is derived from Lobb's Run, a small stream that runs adjacent to the cemetery entrance and ultimately feeds into the Monongahela River.

Designated as a historic site, Lobb's Cemetery was included on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992. Notably, in close proximity to this cemetery once stood the former Yohogania County Courthouse. It is documented that circa 1794, several individuals involved in the Whiskey Rebellion were interred within the confines of this cemetery.

This noteworthy site received formal recognition by being listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992.
