Join curators, artists, activists, and writers at the museum for a free event, In Conversation: Art, Imagination, and Liberation! Featuring artist and activist Dorothy Burge, writer, curator, and art critic Nicole Fleetwood, and organizer, writer, educator, and curator Mariame Kaba, this conversation will explore creativity as a form of resistance to carceral logic and the everyday violence of the system it enables. This event will be held in the Carnegie Museum of Art Theater and can be streamed via Zoom. Links to view the conversation will be emailed to registrants.

This conversation is co-presented by Let’s Get Free on the occasion of their art exhibition, Picture a Free World, at on view at Concept Art Gallery here in Pittsburgh through July 29.
