Join us for an evening of history, presented by Jonathan Klemens
- 18th C historian and author -

Presenting the amazing patriotic story of how the French aligned with George Washington to help win the Revolutionary War culminating with the British surrender at Yorktown on October 19, 1781. The presentation will also summarize and compare the lives of President Washington and the Marquis de Lafayette and their unwavering friendship. 

There will also be an interesting display of artifacts concerning both patriots including a replica of Washington’s favorite pistol and an authentic letter signed by Lafayette.

Jonathan Klemens, author and 18th century historian.
He is a Fellow of the Society of Antiquities of Scotland,
an accomplished author of historical fiction, Scottist lore, 18th and 19th century history and past President of the Depreciation Lands Museum.
