Old Economy Village will conduct tours and host vendors, displays and musical performances at the regular admission price from 2 to 9 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday. The carriage rides (donation suggested) will begin near the 1401 Church Street entrance and will take place between 2 and 6 p.m. Sunday.
The live St. John's Lutheran Church outdoor Nativity display will repeat every 20 minutes from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday. St. John's also will hold its winter bake sale from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday and offer tours of the historic church from 1 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday.
Santa Claus will be visiting Laughlin Memorial Library from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday so parents can take pictures of him with their children, and Akulina's Antiques, Rivertown Antiques, Good Intent Trading, and Bird & Bear, Old Economy's newest shop, will hold open houses from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and noon to 7 p.m. Sunday.
Visitors also can purchase a holiday-inspired peppermint hot chocolate Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Old Crow Coffeehouse; and stop by The Log Cabin to view its collection of working music boxes. While Ohio Valley Lines will be open for model train enthusiasts from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday (through Jan. 8, donation requested).
