Description:

The Day Covered Bridge, situated in Morris Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, is a historic Queen post truss covered bridge. With dimensions of 12' by 36'6", it is supported by three stone and mortar abutments. Renovations were carried out in 2003, incorporating steel support beams, a new roof, flooring, and sidewalls. Adorned with vertical plank siding on both sides and portals, the bridge boasts a sheet metal gable roof. Recognized for its historical significance, it holds the designation of a historic bridge by the Washington County History & Landmarks Foundation.
