PGH Museums Seeks New Board Member

PGH Museums is seeking a new member to our board of directors to help our organization grow as we revamp and relaunch our membership program this spring. We are looking for a board member who can add unique skills to our organization. We have taken some time during the pandemic to make changes to our website to make it a better community asset and will be spreading awareness about the website this spring. It is the perfect time to join our organization to help make our mission, an information center indiscriminately supporting arts and history preservation and education organizations in our community, a reality.

If you have experience in grant writing, corporate sponsorships, marketing, and/or graphic design, your skills would make you a prime candidate. If you have other skills that you think could help our organization, we encourage you to apply for consideration. Our board of directors meets on the first Thursday evening of each month with video conferencing calls available. Everyone involved with PGH Museums is a volunteer. We work with one another with the understanding that we have work and personal commitments outside of the organization. We are a group of citizens with a passion for art and history and are looking for a board member who shares in that passion.

The deadline to apply to for this position is March 3rd by 5:00 PM EST. At that point the current 8 board members will review applications and contact the selected candidate for an interview if one is found. If you have any questions, please contact brian@pghmuseums.org.
