Writing with Frida, Session 3: Poems

Website.jpg

Join Lisa Viscusi, the Frick’s Manager of Adult Learning, for one of a series of online writing workshops using the words of Frida Kahlo as inspiration to write your own pieces. Frida Kahlo was committed to paper as much as she was committed to canvas. Long before she started expressing herself with a paint brush, she expressed herself through the written word. Even before becoming a poet, Kahlo was known for her mastery of the art of letter writing—to friends, family, and lovers. Each session in the series can stand alone and no experience is required.

This workshop will be offered twice to accommodate various schedules. Please select one timeslot:
11:00 AM–12:30 PM or 6:30–8:00 PM.

Register here.
