Chill out and celebrate the coldest days of the year with your family at the museum! Follow a scavenger hunt of frosty clues to learn how plants and animals have adapted to survive in polar environments.

  • Meet Dr. Albert Kollar, Collection Manager, and Suzanne Mills, Collection Assistant from the Section of Invertebrate Paleontology

  • Try our rockhopper penguin rock course

  • Learn about polar bear diets at the Polar Bear Buffet

  • Experience how blubber keeps marine animals warm with a hands-on activity
