Youth Writers Camp curriculum addresses social justice issues during this current time while maintaining August Wilson’s literary legacy as a core objective. Youth Writers Camp focuses on creating a poetic monologue in the style and themes of Troy Maxson in Fences (or in imitation of other characters across Wilson’s plays).
