Story Saturday: Iggy Peck, Architect by Andrea Beaty

  • Carnegie Museum of Art (map)

Join us in the Ailsa Mellon Bruce Decorative Arts and Design galleries for an in-person story time with curatorial assistant Alyssa Velazquez reading Iggy Peck, Architect by Andrea Beaty and illustrated by David Roberts, followed by an art-making activity for children 12 and under.

This reading is made possible by Abrams Books for Young Readers.

ABOUT THE BOOK
Iggy has been an architect since the age of two but when his second-grade teacher declares that they do not talk about buildings in her classroom, Iggy doesn't know what to do. That is, until a fateful field trip proves just how useful Iggy's passion for problem-solving and love of architecture can really be.
