The Andy Warhol Museum welcomes Sarah Klang, a two-time Swedish Grammis award-winning singer/songwriter known for her emotional and playful autobiographical pop ballads. Klang had this to say about her recently released album Beautiful Woman, “This entire album is a celebration of womanhood and girlhood. It’s about the awkwardness of being a child, a teenager and about understanding your relationship with your body and self in a patriarchal world.” The album was produced by US multi-instrumentalist, singer/songwriter and producer Eric D. Johnson (Bonny Light Horseman, Fruit Bats, The Shins).
“She has an exceptional talent for finding the universal within the personal, which makes the experience of listening to her feel so intimate to one’s own strife.” – Paste
