LIVE VIRTUAL ARCHITECTURE TOUR: UPPER PENN-LIBERTY

website.png

There is much to admire on this tour of the compact area bounded by Penn and Liberty Avenues and Ninth and Tenth Streets in Downtown, where commerce and rail transportation merged in the late 19th century. The vast majority of the historic commercial buildings in this area were constructed between 1884 and 1916, at the height of the Gilded Age. The tour explores this ravishing architectural legacy, as well as preservation’s important role in bringing vitality back to the district. Contemporary landmarks that seal the district’s identity as a microcosm of Downtown’s commerce and culture round out our tour.

This live virtual tour will be held via Zoom Conference. Purchase a ticket below, and you will receive an e-mail with a link to Zoom at 9:00 a.m. on the day of the tourPlease log in 15 minutes before the tour’s scheduled start to ensure that it begins on time.
