This exhibition features new paintings by Judy Barie. She creates multiple layers on birch panels; mixing, pouring and combining oil and latex paint. The result is a balance of unforeseen happy accidents and loose brushwork. The juxtaposition of these many layers combined with tight hand painted patterns, create a dichotomy intended to intrigue the viewer. Color is paramount in the work, while highlighting her pure love of paint
