Silver Eye is proud to be a community partner with Film Pittsburgh's JFilm Festival! Celebrate the 30th anniversary of the JFilm Festival starting today, April 20th, until Sunday, April 30th! The eleven-day festival showcases Jewish-themed, independent feature films that you can't see anywhere else. JFilm will host a fun 30th anniversary bash on Opening Night, Q&As with visiting filmmakers, a bagel brunch, Film Schmoozes where you get to chat about the movie, and more!
This year's program includes the Pittsburgh Premiere of Vishniac on Saturday April 22 at 2pm at AMC Waterfront. This film brings to life the stunning photography of Roman Vishniac, best known for the images he took traveling Eastern Europe from 1935-38, photographing Jewish life.
