In the Moment @ Home: October

This online discussion is intended for people with Alzheimer’s and dementia living at home. Memory care facilities may contact Lucy Stewart, associate curator of education, at stewartl@cmoa.org to arrange an In the Moment online experience for facility residents.

Take part in Carnegie Museum of Art’s long-running In the Moment program from the comfort of your own home. You and someone in your home can share a meaningful discussion inspired by works of art in Carnegie Museum of Art’s collection. Three different works of art each month inspire thoughtful looking and invite both verbal and nonverbal responses. The discussion is designed to stimulate self-expression and increase socialization among participants. The experience is limited to eight households to help promote participation by all who attend. Each person will be acknowledged and all are welcome to share any observations or thoughts.

This discussion takes place on Zoom. Each person will be seen by all participants and guides.

Support for senior programming is generously provided by The Campbell Foundation.
