HIP-HOP MUSIC CAMP

Hip-Hop Music Camp will include 4 sessions that will focus on the history and evolution of hip-hop, lyrical content and artistic responsibility, and discover the connection between August Wilson and hip-hop music. Music Camp will be taught by Educator, ChaRon Don, a music pioneer from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Over the course of the camp, students will learn the importance of hip-hop and the role of rap music, how to create their own song including verses, chorus, and bridge, stage performance, and will prepare their own song. This camp is suitable for high school students, ages 14-18 years of age.

The camp will be both in-person and virtual via Zoom. All registrants for this camp will receive an email with a Zoom link for the virtual sessions 3 days prior to each session. In addition, each registrant will receive a swag bag.
