Miller Farm Bridge Parking Area

The final hike of our Gerard Trail Series is an overnight backpacking trip, where we will cover approximately 12 miles of difficult terrain and stay overnight in the Cow Run Shelters. There is a meeting scheduled for Wednesday, September 21 at 6:00pm in the park office where we will cover how to pack a pack, gear to bring, backpacking recipes/meal suggestions, etc. You are strongly encouraged to attend the meeting if you are joining us for the backpacking trip. The park has camping and backpacking gear for use if you do not have your own.

Registration is required, and priority will be given to those who attended the first four hikes in the series. Ages 16+. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult. To register, call or email the park naturalist at 814.676.1810 or ikuberry@pa.gov.
