Functional Ceramics (class)

Functional art is a great way to express yourself, while creating something you can use everyday. In this camp, we’ll be using the broomstick method to create mugs out of ceramic clay and underglaze.

This camp will be held online, via Zoom. Registration includes a materials kit, a one-hour live lesson, and a 30 minute Zoom session the Friday of the camp where students can share their work with the instructor and other campers. Elementary students will have their share session from 11:00 am – 11:30 am, middle school students will have their share session from 11:40 am – 12:10 pm, and high school students will have their share session from 12:20 pm – 12:50 pm. For more details about how our online camps will work, please visit our main camp page.
