Fellowship 23 Conversations: Dominick McDuffie and Terrell Halsey

Join us in conversation with Keystone Award winner Dominick McDuffie and Keystone Award honorable mention Terrell Halsey next Thursday, June 15th at 6pm ET via Zoom! We will explore each artist’s unique approach to contemporary photography and themes within the exhibition. Register at silvereye.org to receive the meeting information. All Fellowship 23 Conversations are free and open to the public.

Keystone Award winner Dominick McDuffie is a photographer whose practice is rooted in community, cultural preservation, and documenting Black spaces in Pittsburgh and the people in and around them. Keystone Award honorable mention Terrell Halsey fuses street, conceptual, documentary, and portraiture to create visual experiences of humanity and better contextualize the world around him. Specifically, Halsey explores how contemporary Black experience is shaped by the physical manifestation of social structures that systematically and psychologically inhibit and displace.

Hear both artists discuss their work in Fellowship 23 and join an open discussion about how photography can provide a greater understanding of place, belonging, and community.

Register for the conversation today!
