East Liberty Public Art

  • Front of East Liberty Presbyterian Church 116 South Highland Avenue Pittsburgh, PA, 15206 United States (map)

Join Morton Brown, a local public art aficionado, for a walking tour of one of our most beloved Pittsburgh neighborhoods – exploring its history, public art, and amenities.

Morton has many interesting, first-hand stories to share regarding art and history in the area, such as the Pittsburgh’s first-ever, fully artist-designed pedestrian bridge named Shady Liberty by Sheila Klein, the Joy of Life sculpture by Virgil Cantini, Leslie Ansley’s Convergence, Laura Jean McLaughlin’s Dishing Out Science mosaic and Kate Bechak’s Worm’s Eye View mural at Whole Foods, and the new mural To Be Human, by Ann Lewis, recently completed upon the massive façade of Duolingo HQ.
