Do you have a favorite cup for your coffee or a preferred light to read by? Why do these objects fit your lifestyle and surroundings? Encounter the works of art we live with, created for daily use or luxury, from the chairs we sit on to the utensils in our kitchens.

Join us for the next installment of Crash Course and devle into a range of materials, such as ceramic, wood, and metal, and makers, including Marcel Breuer, Isamu Noguchi, and Charlotte Perriand.

Crash Course is our 18-week series of art survey classes that explores the museum’s extensive collection of paintings, sculptures, photographs, prints, architecture, and decorative arts. This extensive series is only offered once every four years. You can register for each individual two-week unit or the entire 18-week series. Every class is recorded and available on-demand digitally.
