Food Preservation on the Early American Frontier

  • Woodville Plantation (map)

As the weather draws colder, residents of an early American frontier home make preparations for the winter months. Such preparation includes making sure that food is plenty.

Join Woodville as we explore how those living on a frontier during the early years of the country would have made good use of their harvest by preserving their food in order to make it through the cold days ahead.

This event will be taking place on the Neville House grounds on Sunday, November 8, 2020 and through the hours of 1-4PM, during which house tours will also be commencing.

Admissions is at the door.
