Cuando el rio suena, es porqué agua lleva. "When the river sounds, it is because it carries water." 

A new exhibition by Jaime Guerrero that explores themes of identity and struggle as they relate to the current global refugee crisis. As the son of immigrant parents who grew up in a Latino neighborhood in LA, he is keenly aware of the struggles and hardships that immigrants face. Given the current global refugee crisis, and especially the influx of refugees in Pittsburgh, Guerrero feels strongly that shedding light on the immigrant experience is important now more than ever and seeks to use his work to bridge gaps and connect people through shared human experiences.
