Twelfth Annual “An Evening in the Neighborhood: Silent & Live Auction”
to support Latrobe Art Center

Latrobe, Pa.— Latrobe Art Center will hold its annual fundraiser, An Evening in The Neighborhood XII: Silent & Live Auction on Wednesday, November 13, at 6 p.m. at Latrobe Country Club.
Latrobe Art Center, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, creates a welcoming environment that encourages and fosters individuals to be creative and develop artistically. Over the past 17 years the art center has assembled one of the finest art galleries in southwestern Pennsylvania.
“This fundraiser helps us continue our mission of providing quality art programs and events for the community,” says Lauren Buches, executive director of the Art Center. This year’s theme for the auction is “Polka Dots & Plaid”—attendees are encouraged to wear something semi-formal, or polka dots or plaid.
The auction will feature a chance auction, 50/50, prize balloons, a silent auction, and a live auction, as well as heavy hors d’oeurves served by Latrobe Country Club, a cash bar, and dessert.
Tickets for the chance auction baskets are five for $5, ten for $10, and 25 for $20. Anyone can purchase chance auction tickets at the Art Center, Monday - Friday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. until the day of the auction. Chance auction items include: a “Dining Out” basket; a “Beer & Pizza” basket; a “Lottery Tree”; and a wine basket. The winners of the baskets will be announced the evening of the auction.
The silent auction consists of various items that individuals at the event will have the chance to bid on. The highest bidder of each item will be announced at the end of the evening. Some of the silent auction items include:

o Stage Right’s performances of “Newsies” (November 2019) and “Legally Blonde” (April 2020)
o West Overton Village “Enhanced Tour” package for up to 10 people (choose between the History & Distillery Tour or Homestead Tour)
o Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra’s “Home for the Holidays”
o Overly’s Country Christmas
o Season passes for the Saint Vincent Concert Series
o Season passes for the Saint Vincent Summer Theatre
· Glengarry Foursome golf package
· Stoneware bowl by Francis DeFabo

· “A Dog’s Delight” basket from Eclectique

The rest of the items can be viewed in the main storefront window of Latrobe Art Center.
The live auction will start around 8 p.m. with Mark Ferry auctioning off several items, including a Latrobe Country Club Golf Package and Pittsburgh Penguins ticket package. The remainder of the live auction items will be revealed the evening of the event.
