We're delighted to present the 58th Carnegie International Film Festival! From March 3–12, films will be screened at the Carnegie Museum of Art Theater and Row House Cinema, which is in the Lawrenceville neighborhood of Pittsburgh. Screenings at the museum are free with museum admission, and screenings at Row House are $12.57, plus fees.
Curated by Rasha Salti, an independent film and visual arts curator and writer, this historic and expansive collection of films oscillates between “morning” and “night” and provides expanded context into Is it morning for you yet?, the 58th Carnegie International. Drawn from the geopolitics of the Cold War, these films present a version of history that challenges the impunity of the victors, confronts imperial powers with their legacies of devastation, and forges their own paths for repair.
