Description:

The Scottdale Armory, situated in Scottdale, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, stands as a significant landmark in the region. Constructed in 1929 and featuring an Art Deco architectural style, this one-story rectangular brick building holds historical importance.

It accommodates administrative offices in the basement while the first floor houses the drill hall. Additionally, a one-story brick annex was incorporated around 1950. The esteemed architect Joseph F. Kuntz was responsible for its design. In recognition of its historical and architectural significance, the Scottdale Armory was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991.
