Description:

The Packsaddle Bridge stands as a historic covered bridge located in Fairhope Township, Somerset County, Pennsylvania. Constructed in 1877, this Kingpost truss bridge spans 48 feet in length and is characterized by its full vertical plank siding and substantial cut stone abutments. Crossing over Brush Creek, it is one of the ten covered bridges that grace Somerset County. Notably, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
