Description:

The Society's intent is to collect memorabilia, photographs, artifacts and other material pertinent to the City of Jeannette and to protect, preserve, categorize and share this history.

The JAHS was established by John Howard in 2002 and since moving to new headquarters at 415 Clay Avenue has revamped it's extensive historical displays with themed areas detailing different facets of Jeannette History.

The JAHS Museum is available free of charge to all visitors and is open most weekdays during business hours. Our Historians and Archivists are available to assist the curious or researchers with their needs utilizing our state-of-the-art museum management software.
