Description:

Ida M. Tarbell was a prominent journalist known for her investigative work, particularly her exposé on the Standard Oil Company, which led to antitrust actions. Beyond journalism, she authored several biographies and an autobiography. Her childhood home, the Tarbell House, underwent extensive restoration by the Oil Region Alliance, preserving its historic significance. Today, the house serves as a museum, offering tours and hosting events, with the first floor open to the public and the second floor functioning as a private apartment.
