Description:

Graffiti Gallery is a non-profit exhibition gallery which opened in 2010. Located on the ground floor of the historic National Transit Building Annex, it was designed and is managed and curated by local artist volunteers. Graffiti Gallery’s grand opening in October 2010 featured a retrospective of the work of Oil City outsider artist Butch Quinn. Since then, the gallery has presented themed exhibits by local and regional artists. Exhibits range from three-dimensional work, to folk art, to music-themed work, environmental-based exhibits and beyond. Featured artists from the region have included Mark Panza, Jennifer Howison, Thomas Shreve, Paul Wittreich, John Manders, Hiromi Katayama, Don Jones, Bill Brady, Margaret Brostrom, Tom Ferraro, Rebecca Moon, Rachel Wheeler, Carol McDonald, and Richard Sayer.

Shows are organized and curated by both local arts organizations and private artists. There are typically four to five exhibits throughout the year, and exhibits are open to the public at no charge.
