The Glessner Bridge, situated in Stonycreek Township, Somerset County, Pennsylvania, is a notable covered bridge with a rich history. Erected in 1881, this bridge spans 90 feet across the Stonycreek River. It features a distinctive multiple Kingpost truss design, complemented by half-height plank siding and a tin-covered gable roof. As one of Somerset County's ten covered bridges, the Glessner Bridge stands as a testament to the region's architectural heritage and engineering prowess. Recognized for its historical significance, it was duly added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
