The Conemaugh Township Area Historical Society maintains an extensive collection of photographs of family groups, homes, farm equipment, activities and portraits during the period from 1895 through the 1920s. More than 10,000 local obituaries also have been catalogued along with family histories of residents. Historical Society facilities are open to the public on Thursday mornings and other times by appointment.
