Situated within South Park in South Park Township, Pennsylvania, the Allegheny County Fairgrounds has been a prominent fixture since its acquisition and design by the Allegheny County Department of Parks in 1927. Serving as the venue for the Allegheny County Fair starting from 1932, this location garnered recognition as a Historic Landmark by the Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation in 2009.
