In her new series, Stephanie Armbruster delves into the realm of the self and the interior landscape of her own experience. Each work is the product of a period of profound introspection, touching upon universal themes of resilience and adaptation, isolation and connection.

Departing from her traditional medium of encaustic, these expansive new works in stark black and white on paper intentionally shun color to emphasize form and contrast, conveying a sense of depth through interplay between light and dark.
