Washington County Historical Society Seeks Volunteers

Over the past two years events at the Washington County Frontier History Center has been limited due to the ongoing pandemic.  But now it is time to get back to it!

Before we can do that though, there is work to be done.  That is where you come in!  We are looking for people who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty to volunteer at the Frontier History Center.  From replacing aging roof shakes, to trimming up fallen trees, there is work for all ages!

On Saturday, May 14th at 9:30am, we will be having a volunteer meeting at the Frontier History Center, located in Washington Park.  We will be going over the work that is necessary for us to once again open the site to visitors.  If you are interested in volunteering, please either respond to this email, or meet us on Saturday.

Our members and volunteers are the lifeblood of this organization you can make a difference in this community by helping us make history by preserving history.

We hope to see you Saturday at 9:30!  The Frontier History Center is located in Washington Park, just down from the Stone Pavilion.  Please see the map below if you have any questions about the location of the Frontier History Center.  Enter the parking lot through the gate.
