PITTSBURGH INTERNATIONAL JAZZ FESTIVAL

The first-ever Pittsburgh International Jazz Festival Live Online is a free special event that will stream live on Saturday, June 20 at 12PM EDT on the Center’s website and on Pittsburgh International Jazz Festival website.  


The virtual event, curated by the AWAACC will feature legendary jazz musicians from around the world, including Dianne Reeves, Sean Jones, Orrin Evans, Jazzmeia Horn, Lakecia Benjamin, Joe Locke, Laurin Talese, Brett Williams + Kate K-S, poet jessica Care moore and other surprise appearances.

To mark what would have been the 10th annual Pittsburgh International Jazz Festival (PJIF) in June, the event will also include a live jam session performance curated by Sean Jones and featuring Pittsburgh-based artists, special tributes, a look back at archival interviews and footage from the Festival’s first 10 years. The evening will end at 5PM EDT with an interactive dance party featuring DJ Nate Da Barber and DJ SMI.
