Museums attendance in Pittsburgh region recovered in 2021, two new attractions opened in 2022

For museums and other cultural attractions in the Pittsburgh region, 2021 was almost a return to prepandemic levels, with 2022 numbers closing the gap, according to the Pittsburgh Business Times List of Museums and Cultural Attractions, which drops today.

After a year of uncertainty, closures and losing holiday visitors, 2021 brought some stability, if not a total return.
