Halloween Hullabaloo – A safe(r) trick-or-treat event for the whole family!

JAHA is excited to present a fun Halloween event using several of our facilities for lots of spooky fun while social distancing! You’ll get a passport to take to each location – Peoples Natural Gas Park, Heritage Discovery Center, Wagner-Ritter Garden, and Johnstown Flood Museum —  at which you’ll enjoy these activities:

  • Science with Dr. Matt

  • Halloween games and activities

  • Activities by Macaroni Kid, Learning Lamp, Cambria County Library

  • Spooky storytimes

  • Trick-or-treating

  • A bonfire at Peoples Natural Gas Park

  • Food vendor at the park

Get a passport stamp at each of the four locations, and you’ll receive one free child admission to the Heritage Discovery Center/Johnstown Children’s Museum to be used for a future visit!

Buy your ticket in advance (in person at the Heritage Discovery Center or over the phone, 539-1889) and get a chance to win a cauldron of candy!

Please note, it’s Halloween, and masks are required (to prevent the spread of COVID-19) at all our locations! We will also be following social distancing protocol to help ensure a safe and fun time.

Tickets — which will also be available at Heritage Discovery Center, Johnstown Flood Museum, and Peoples Natural Gas Park on the day of the event — are $8 for children; $6 for adults; and  $5 for child and adult JAHA members.
