The top glass artists from all over the world come to Pittsburgh Glass Center to teach and share their knowledge and experience with students of all abilities from newbie to ace. Our one-week intensive classes are the best way to perfect your technique. SiO2 teen boot camp • July 11–15 • $400

Teens in grades 6–12 take over Pittsburgh Glass Center in this intensive class! This one-week summer day camp introduces the science and art of glass to teens. It gives students the rare hands-on experience of learning the many facets of glass in one of the top facilities in the country. Sessions will include glassblowing, flameworking, kilnforming, and coldworking. During the lunch hour all students will come together for discussion with the instructors and fellow students. Scholarships available; apply by June 1. Learn more and register.
