Carnegie Science Center, including Mummies of the World, will reopen to the public on Mon., June 29, with members-only days scheduled for Fri.–Sun., June 26–28.

EXTENDED – Come face-to-face with the largest exhibition of real mummies ever assembled!

You asked, and we’ve made it happen! Due to high demand, we are extending our run of Mummies of the World: The Exhibition in Pittsburgh. Explore 125 real mummies and related artifacts from across the globe! This blockbuster exhibition provides a window into the lives of ancient people from every region of the world including Europe, South America, and Ancient Egypt, offering unprecedented insights into past cultures and civilizations.

The exhibition enthralls guests with dramatic displays of the mummies and their personal stories, as well as state-of-the-art multimedia stations that take visitors on a 4,500-year journey to explore the mummies’ history and origins as well as how they were created, both naturally and intentionally.
