Community Heroes of Venango County

Hero: Someone who, in the face of danger, combats adversity through feats of ingenuity, courage, or strength, and those who perform great deeds or selfless acts for the common good.

Venango Area Chamber believes that the best approach to 2021 is one of gratitude and positive spirit. We want to lift up and recognize those who have served us so well, making Venango County a better place to live, even in a pandemic. These are Venango’s Heroes.

Who is your local hero? It could be a:

• Teacher, nurse or any frontline worker

• Employee or employer

• Small business owner

• Neighbor or friend

Heroes can be individuals or organizations making a difference here, like a business or nonprofit.

You will find a few examples below, but we need to hear from you. You can submit a nomination, which includes their name and contact information & a few sentences about them. We’ll also need a photo of them and we will contact them for permission to share their information.

We’ll be sharing our region’s heroes on this page, in our newsletter, on our social media, and through the local media.
