Carnegie Science Awards nominations now open

Nominate outstanding people and organizations from our region who are making a difference!

Since 1997, the Carnegie Science Awards have honored the accomplishments of more than 600 individuals and organizations whose contributions in the fields of science, technology, and education have significantly impacted western Pennsylvania and inspired the next generation of innovators. By nominating you can help someone who you know and admire receive recognition for their trailblazing work.

Nominations are now open for the 26th annual Carnegie Science Awards! We are proud to hold open nominations for eight categories of awards:

  • Most Inspiring Educator

  • Best Interdisciplinary Approach to STEM Education

  • Exemplary Educational/Corporate Collaboration

  • Champion for Sustainability

  • Champion for STEM Equity and Inclusion

  • Entrepreneur

  • Innovation

  • Corporate Leadership

Award winners will be selected by a committee of peers and honored at the Geek Out Gala, a sleekgeek celebration celebrating Carnegie Science Award winners on Fri., Oct. 14, 2022, at Carnegie Science Center.

Nominate innovative scientists, technologists, entrepreneurs, and educators today! Nominations will be accepted through June 10, 2022. Self-nominations are welcome.
