Bushy Run announces new facilitator

The Bushy Run Battlefield Historical Society proudly announces Liz Staab as the new Bushy Run Battlefield Museum Facilitator. Liz Staab grew up in Castle Shannon, PA and currently resides in Brentwood, PA with her grandmother, sister, and dog. She recently graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in European History. Her historical interests vary, but her favorite time period of study is the Victorian Era. Before coming to Bushy Run Battlefield , Liz had the honor of interning at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall in Oakland. There she developed an intense interest and love for historical museums and sites. She is an avid fan of Pittsburgh sports, reading, and Outlander (fictional historical drama based on novels by Diana Gabaldon now streaming on cable television ). Liz notes that she is thrilled to join the team at Bushy Run Battlefield and is very excited to spend her time amid such rich history
